DMG Mori Series Repair
DMG Mori CTX / CLX Turning Repair (including TC variants)
CTX and CLX cover DMG Mori's broader turning lineup — CLX 350/450/550 entry production, CTX 310 through 850 with alpha/beta/gamma variants, and the TC turn-mill builds (CTX Beta 800 TC, Beta 1250 TC, Gamma 2000 TC, Gamma 3000 TC). The TC machines add a milling B-axis that becomes the focal point for most service calls.

Common failure patterns
- B-axis milling spindle wear on TC variants — bearing pack and alignment work.
- Lower turret faults on twin-turret configurations.
- Hydraulic chuck issues on heavy-cut production.
- Tailstock alignment on long-bed CTX 650 and CTX 850.
Controls used on this series
CTX and CLX ship on Siemens 840D under the CELOS HMI. TC variants with the added B-axis put more configuration work on the control side.
Lead time
Lead time depends on the model, the failure mode, and parts availability. Diagnostic is fast; full rebuilds run 3 to 5 weeks on most jobs. We scope each job individually rather than quoting a generic window.
