DMG Mori NLX / ALX Turning Repair
NLX and ALX are DMG Mori's universal-turning workhorses — NLX-1500 through NLX-6000, ALX 1500 through 2500, with bed-length suffixes (/500, /700, /1500) and MC/SMC/Y/SY/MY configuration options. The line covers everything from compact 2-axis bar work to large mill-turn jobs. Most calls are turret, sub-spindle, or Y-axis work.

Controls used on this series
NLX and ALX ship on Siemens 840D (typically 840D solutionline on newer builds), wrapped in the DMG Mori CELOS HMI layer. Service work spans both the control hardware and the CELOS-side integration.
Lead time
Lead time depends on the model, the failure mode, and parts availability. Diagnostic is fast; full rebuilds run 3 to 5 weeks on most jobs. We scope each job individually rather than quoting a generic window.
