DMG Mori CMX / CMX U Way Covers
CMX way covers — CMX 600V through 1300V verticals and CMX 50U/70U 5-axis universals — use lighter-duty telescoping steel than the higher-end NVX or DMU lines. The platform's cost optimization is reflected in the cover specifications. In heavy-use environments cover wear outpaces the higher-end machines.

CMX way covers are OEM-available through DMG Mori. Custom fabrication is sometimes the right path for heavy-use environments where heavier-duty covers extend service intervals. Lead time is 2 to 4 weeks.

Lead time depends on the model, the failure mode, and parts availability. Diagnostic is fast; full rebuilds run 3 to 5 weeks on most jobs. We scope each job individually rather than quoting a generic window.
