Haas Mini Mill / Toolroom / DT / DM / VM Way Covers
The compact and toolroom families share cover patterns within sub-families but differ across them. Mini Mill covers are compact telescoping steel. DT drill-tap and DM drill-mill machines have specific cover configurations matched to their high-cycle production use. VM mold-machine covers handle aluminum chip loads. TM Toolroom Mill covers split between OEM and custom-fab depending on age.

- Mini Mill and Super Mini Mill use compact telescoping steel covers across the X and Y ways.
- DT drill-tap covers see high cycle counts — heavier-duty telescoping or aftermarket-upgrade options available.
- DM drill-mill covers handle steeper Z-axis travel than Mini Mill.
- VM mold-machine covers handle aluminum chip loads and high coolant flow.
- TM Toolroom Mill covers on older builds may require custom fabrication.

Current compact and toolroom covers are OEM-available through Haas; older TM Toolroom Mill builds may require custom-fab. We check availability before quoting and route accordingly. Lead time is 2 to 4 weeks.
Lead time
Lead time depends on the model, the failure mode, and parts availability. Diagnostic is fast; full rebuilds run 3 to 5 weeks on most jobs. We scope each job individually rather than quoting a generic window.
