Okuma Series Repair
Okuma MB / MA Vertical Spindle Repair & Grinding
MB and MA vertical-machining spindles — MB-46V through MB-66V production, MB-4000H/5000H horizontal-spindle builds, MA-400 through MA-8000 larger-envelope platforms — are the workhorses on Okuma vertical shop floors. The platform's in-house spindle design and thermal compensation lend predictable wear patterns: machines that have been maintained well wear at expected rates; machines pushed past their thermal compensation limits show different patterns.

Lead time
Lead time depends on the model, the failure mode, and parts availability. Diagnostic is fast; full rebuilds run 3 to 5 weeks on most jobs. We scope each job individually rather than quoting a generic window.
