Okuma Genos Way Covers
Genos covers handle the 'Affordable Excellence' line — Genos L lathes and Genos M verticals. Lighter-duty than the higher-end MB/MA or MULTUS lines, but Okuma still uses quality cover specifications relative to platform class. In heavy-use environments cover wear outpaces the higher-end machines.

Genos way covers are OEM-available through Okuma. Custom fabrication is an option for heavy-use environments. Lead time is 2 to 4 weeks.
Lead time
Lead time depends on the model, the failure mode, and parts availability. Diagnostic is fast; full rebuilds run 3 to 5 weeks on most jobs. We scope each job individually rather than quoting a generic window.
